I am looking for a 5 x 4-3/4 wheel hub to fit on a 1-1/16 spindle

The L44649 bearing is compatible with a 1.062 inch (1-1/16 inch) spindle which is used on 2000, 2200, 2500 and 2700 lb axles.

A 5 on 4-3/4 inch bolt pattern hub is found on hubs compatible with a 3500 lb axle, and uses different bearings (L68149 inner and L44649 outer), so we unfortunately don't offer a hub with that bolt pattern that's compatible with your current spindles.

This leaves you with a few options. You could replace your existing axle with one that's compatible with the bearing set used by the # AKIHUB-5475-35-K hub you'd looked at. We offer a few off-the shelf axles, some of which might work for you. I'll need to know the distance between your hub faces and the center to center spacing of your spring seats (see provided diagram). If you can reply with that info, I'd be happy to check to see if any of the replacement axles we offer would fit your needs.

As another option, you could remove the existing spindles and replace them with 3500 lb spindles like # TRU64FR. The spindles would need to be welded in place by a welder that's skilled in trailer fab work. It's not a do-it-yourselfer type of install.

As a final option, you could go with the # AKIHUB-545-2-LF-2K hubs which have a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern and replace your existing wheels with some that have a compatible bolt pattern.
