Question:

I have a Tandem axle tt 2021 Keystone Premier 29RKPR with 33 inch axle spacing and 2 1/4 inch shackles with a dexter 13-104 equalizer bar, where the is only 2 inches. Some data suggests using the same shackle length or if the axle spacing is 33 inch use the 2 1/4 inch shackle when fitting the road armor equalizer. However if I install the Road Armor equalizer it has a of 3 1/2 inches therefore to keep the same ride / spring height should I choose the 3 1/8 shackle length?

The Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit - Tandem Axle - Qty 2 # LC696740 will work well with your current shackle strap length and won't have a big impact on ride height. Unless there is a drastic difference in the equalizer size it is best to stick with the same length shackles. For 2-1/4" long shackle straps you will want the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Triple Axle Trailers - 2-1/4" Long Shackle Straps # MR46ZR.
