Question:

It appears that this hitch, the Draw-Tite #75699 has a mount platform attached to it which is good. Are there holes pre-drilled in it or not? Some pictures show holes while others do not. If so,I have a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude and am looking for the proper configuration to go with this hitch. I believe the wiring to accommodate my Jeep would be #118727 I do NOT have the factory tow-package. Is bracket #18144 good to mount upon the mount platform? Or should I use a configuration of the “No-drill mount for electrical mounting bracket #18140? with the “Brophy mounting bracket 4-pole flare trailer connect #BK4F ? Kindly give me the proper configuration to go along with the this trailer hitch!…

The holes are pre-drilled in the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver item # 75699. What you are seeing is paint from the powder coating process that got left in there. It will come right out when you attach the screws. The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # 118727 is the correct wiring harness for your 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee without the tow package. The Mounting Bracket 4-Pole Flat item # 18144 will work perfectly for your set up and is the exact bracket I recommend for Draw-Tite hitches.

I recommend adding the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534 to your towing set up. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
