Question:

I’ve got a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited X model, I need a tow hitch and the wiring to pull a 3000lb boat trailer combo . It has a removable plastic door on back bumper to put hitch through. What all do I need. I’ll just need the 4 way flat plug

The trailer hitch I recommend for a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee is the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98901. This hitch is a direct bolt-on fit with no cutting or drilling required. It installs under the rear bumper. There are no options which install behind the cutout unfortunately. Then for the wiring, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118727 which does not require any splicing and provides a 4-way flat connector.
