Can Factory Trailer Hitch on 2019 Ford F-150 Be Replaced
Updated 02/23/2022 | Published 02/22/2022 >
Question:
Im looking to replace my hitch receiver as the OE unit pinhole is ovaling out. I have no issue removing the factory hitch. I want a hitch with a 1000 to 1200lb TW. I do not want to install a second hitch below the current hitch. I want a full replacement. Any suggestions please? It looks like the curt hitches add a second to a truck that has a factory hitch. PS, pulling a 8k trailer with a WD. The TW is maxed on my current oE hitch as well.

The factory trailer hitch on a 2019 Ford F-150 cannot be removed as it's tied into the bumper supports. The only trailer hitch options we offer are for models without a factory hitch or to add a second hitch below the factory with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C26HR.
