Updated 01/09/2025 | Published 12/31/2024

Question:

I have a 2023 f150 4x4 supercew with factory tow package. I would like to replace my hitch with a class 4 hitch. What options do I have? Thank you.

Hey Jason! We have a one option to add a class IV hitch to your 2023 Ford F-150. It is the Curt item # C26HR. This mounts below your factory hitch and will give you a 10,000 lbs towing capacity. The main draw back of this hitch is you won't be able to mount your spare tire beneath your truck once you install it.

A better option, if your F-150 has the factory hitch rated to 10,500 lbs, is the TorkLift SuperHitch item # TL74CR. This is a class V with dual 2" receivers. It will allow you to mount your spare tire beneath your truck bed. Please note this hitch will not fit if your factory one has a 11,500 lbs capacity.
