In order to use the Yakima GearLocker Enclosed Cargo Carrier # Y44VR you would need the Yakima EXO SwingBase Swing Away Hitch Extender # Y34VR which would mount in a 2" hitch. You could also get the Yakima EXO Swing Away Enclosed Cargo Carrier # Y62VR (this consists of both the # Y44VR and # Y34VR) The Yakima EXO System is a modular system that allows you to use a number of different accessories in different configurations. I have included some of those options below. You can also add the TopShelf for Yakima EXO SwingBase # Y94VR to carry gear on two different levels.

-Yakima BackDeck Camping Table for Modular EXO System # Y84VR
-Yakima GearWarrior Cargo Carrier for Modular EXO System # Y37VR
