Question:

Hi there, I am looking for a front mounted hitch for my 2000 Ford f250 super duty diesel. I saw that you have a curt and a draw title. Both have 500lb and 9000lb ratings bit I cant find any real difference between the two. What are the differences. I am primarily going to use this for trailer moving in tight quarters. Please advise. Thanks

Aside from brand name the Curt Front Hitch # 31114 and Draw-Tite Front Hitch # 65022 are virtually the same for your 2000 Ford F-250 Super Duty - usually in this case it boils down to brand-loyalty for the end-user. If you don't have a preference then I recommend going with the Curt. The powder coat on Curt hitches tends to be a little thicker which gives it a slight edge in protection against the elements.

You can choose to reuse the factory license plate holder when you aren't utilizing the front hitch, you can mount it somewhere else altogether, or you can use a Hitch Mounted Bracket # 5443 to easily install and remove the license plate from your front mount receiver whenever you need to use it.
