Cleaning And Replacing Rubber Caps And Pins On A Roadmaster Stowmaster 5000

Question:
I have a Stowmaster 5000. I am looking for a couple of the rubber caps for the pins on the bar. Also, what type of lube should I use on the bars or how should I clean them. They are getting a bit hard to slide in and out.

You can get these parts in the Complete Repair Kit for Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar, part # RM-910003-20. With regard to maintaining the bars, you need to clean them before you lubricate them. You should also avoid using petroleum based lube products because they attract dirt and dust. I have included a product description link below.
