Id like to purchase a cargo carrier for my 2006 Toyota Camery. I want something that folds up as I wont be using it all the time. I will be using it to carry some items that dont fit in the car while on vacation. Can you suggest something that has a good clearance from the road. Thank you so much. A good choice for a hitch mounted cargo carrier for your 2006 Toyota Camry is manufactured by Pro Series. The 20 X 47 Pro Series Cargo Carrier.
This carrier doesn't fold up - actually, none of the carriers that will fit your vehicles 1-1/4 hitch and hitch rating fold up.
This cargo carrier's dimensions are 49-1/2 inches long X 21-1/2 inches tall. The # 63155 has actual railings to attach tie down straps. You will need to check your owners manual for your tongue weight rating.
The # 63155 has an option for trailer lights if your cargo is going to cover your vehicle tail-lights. The lighting kit is # 20174.
This carrier will also give you an additional 3 inches in ground clearance.
