I would like to add a 7-way connection to my truck as well as a hitch. I have a 2022 Colorado.

For your 2022 Chevrolet Colorado I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98909. This is a custom fit, Class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a concealed cross tube and a bolt-on installation. This hitch has a maximum gross trailer weight of 8,000 lbs and tongue weight of 800 lbs. What sets this hitch apart from others is the matte black finish. Not only does this create a rugged look, it does a better job hiding dirt and scratches when compared to a glossy finish.

For wiring, I recommend the 7-Pole and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Sockets w/ Mounting Bracket and Wiring - Vehicle End # HM40975-11998. This pigtail harness will hardwire into the vehicle and provide you with both a 4-way and 7-way connection.

If you also need a ball mount, I recommend the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
