Do yall have a complete conversion kit from hub to disk brakes for tandem dexter 10000 lb axles and If so how much is it and what all does it come with

Expert Reply:

While there is not an all inclusive kit with everything you need to convert to disk brakes, we do have the necessary parts to put it all together. For a 10,000 lb Dexter axle there are two options.

One is the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit # K2R1058D11E which is designed for Dexter axles with oil bath hubs made after May 2013 and the other is the # K2R1058D11HD for those made prior to 2009. These are both slip-on over-the-hub rotors. If you are unable to remove your current hub from the drum you may also need the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 10,000-lb Axles # 8-214-5 or # 8-214-5UC1 if you want new bearings and seals.

Then, for an actuator I recommend the HydraStar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator for Disc Brakes # HS381-8067. You will also need brake lines # HS496-252, a breakaway kit # 20400, and a brake controller # RED44FR to complete the setup.
