Availability of Heavy Duty Replacement Gearbox for Landing Gear on Raptor Toy Hauler

I have a 2006 Raptor 3814 toyhauler and am looking to upgrade to the aluminum gear box and motor. Venture has a good product, what do you offer. I want heavy duty. Thank you, Scott

We offer two replacement gearboxes that are compatible with most 6,000 lb capacity landing gear, including those manufactured by Lippert and Atwood.

The Stromberg Carlson # LG-179015 housing you referred to is constructed of aluminum, while the Atwood Replacement Gear Box Assembly, # 75054SP housing is constructed of composite (plastic).

I would expect that the aluminum gearbox would prove to be more durable, but the compatibility of these parts will depend on the manufacturer and model of your existing landing gear.
