5th Wheel Landing Gear Motor Comparison for Part Number From LCI 142178

Question:

I am looking to purchase a backup for my landing gear motor. My current unit is a LCI PN 142178. What is the correct replacement unit as I seem to see two different items on your website that sound like they would work but with significantly different prices? Thanks for any help.

We have the same part number basically twice through two different vendors here that are the exact replacement motor you are looking for. The Lippert part # LC142178 and the Stromberg part # LG-142178. They are the exact same motors and if I were you I would go with the one that has the best price currently!

I have the same motor that I need to replace. Is there an upgraded (weight capacity) option available?

@DanD I would definitely go with the product matched with the job, and does not deliver higher torque that the other parts are designed for. Beyond that, I don't see an alternative that is physically exactly the same, but higher capacity.
