Question:

I have a dealer installed Mopar 7 conductor harness on my 2020 Wrangler Unlimited that connects to a 2013 Tiffin Phaeton. Trouble is after flat towing all day, Jeep battery is dead. Changed battery thinking it was bad but same result with replacement. Only solution has been to disconnect Jeep battery while towing. All lights work as required but Air Force One supplemental brake system may not since it is connected to the battery directly. Removed the fuse from brake system line leaving battery connected but battery still flat at the end of the day. Other problems is extremely difficult to disconnect Mopar connector from the Jeep. Can you speak to the potential battery drain issue which I never had with other 7 way connected vehicles and can you recommend a replacement for the Mopar system if that is the problem?

Running a charge wire to the flat towed vehicle is one way to prevent the battery of it from going dead while on the road. We have a kit for that exactly with the part # RM-156-25 which would keep your battery topped off when you are flat towing.
