What is the Weight Capacity for the Roadmaster 12-Inch Safety Cable Extensions # RM-910648-12

Question:
Is the pair rated at 8000 lbs or is each cable 8000 lbs for a total capacity of 16k? I have a 15k trailer. Will this pair work or do I need to buy the 8k cables and quick links individually to meet the rating needed?

The 8000-lb rating for the Roadmaster Tow Bar Safety Cable Extensions, part # RM-910648-12, is the total for the pair. These safety cable extensions are for use when flat towing an automobile behind a mobile home.
When towing a trailer safety chains (not cables) are required.
Fulton offers a safety chain rated at 18,800-lbs. This has a clevis hook on one end and measures 42-inches in length. You will need two. The part # is FCHA0050324.
