Hello my bike is a 47.4 wheel base will the kuat sherpa work?

You could probably get your bike to fit the 47" max wheelbase of the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Bike Rack # SH22G but it wouldn't fit as snug as it should. Kuat has done a great job at testing their products and so anything over that 47" wheelbase it pushing the limits.

Instead of trying to push the limits of the Sherpa 2.0 I recommend going with the Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack # KU84FR because it has a 50" max wheelbase so your bike will fit the bike rack like it was meant to. The Transfer V2 has a unique U-Shaped frame that makes it easier to load and unload your bikes. It comes with a bike lock and you can add a rack lock with part # HL2. Another perk of using the Transfer V2 is that it can hold 60 lb bikes instead of just 40 lb bikes like what we find with the Sherpa 2.0.
