Question:
I am considering a slip in replacement for my A-60 hitch. Considering the DX27FR vs T63FR. In looking at the difference it is only a $13.00 part? DX94fr can this part be permanently installed on the DX27FR? If so, what is the difference between the two and/or do you have a better more appropriate model for the slip in? This will be for a 1998 Nitro trailer w/ drum brakes Thank You

Expert Reply:
Since the Dexter coupler part # DX27FR was designed as a replacement for the A-60 you have now this would be the simplest and best replacement solution. The Dexter manual reverse lock out part # DX94FR can not be permanently installed on the coupler and even if it could it would simply prevent the brakes from working at all so it would defeat purpose of having the coupler.
