Do I Need To Drill Or Cut Anything To Get A Hitch Installed On My 2022 Hyundai Kona?
Published 01/26/2022 >
Question:
I am looking to put a hitch on my new 2022 Hyundai Kona, not the electric one, and had a question. Will I need to drill or cut anything to put one on? This is brand new and would prefer to not have to do that.

Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite # DT52GR trailer hitch for your 2022 Hyundai Kona is a direct bolt on application that will require no drilling to get installed. The underbody panel(s) and/or fascia must be temporarily loosened or removed and then trimming may be needed to reattach the underbody panel or the fascia. The exhaust must also be temporarily lowered for installation.
