Question:

How does the lock work with the Carr Flip step down step due to two metal tabs on step down . How does the lock fit into this configeration??

I tested this lock, Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" Hitches - 3-1/2" Span, part # 63232 will work with the Carr Flip Step, part # CARR190011B, and it works. I also tested it with the Curt Anti-Rattle Kit for Hollow Shank Accessories - 2" Hitch w/ 1/2" Pin Hole, part # C22321. It was a little easier to setup the Curt Anti-Rattle Kit to work with the Flip Step. But keep in mind, the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock does come with a lock.
