How do you remove the existing or old Latches?

To install replacement latches # TX1117755 after removing old latches you will need to remove the tailgate header rail from the side rails first. Then you would remove the one fastener per latch holding the old ones on. Next slide off the old latches, slide the new ones into place, and reattach them to the side rails with the fasteners. Then you would put the rear header rail back on.
