will these work on truxport item # 246901, also are these easy to install?

If your TruXport Tonneau cover # TX246901 was manufactured after April of 2011 then the replacement latches # TX1117755 will fit. Check the take on the Tonneau cover for manufacturing information.
If the cover was made before February of 2011 there is no longer a replacement option. They do look totally different so even if you are not 100 percent sure of the year you can probably tell just by looking at the latches.
I would not say they are difficult to install. Take a look at the instructions I have linked for the cover. The latches are pretty much held to the rails with a screw.
