What Gear Does Front Wheel Drive Vehicle Need to Be In When Towed on Tow Dolly

Question:
once i have my chevy spark secured on the dolly, what position do i place the gear stick in, its an automatic car, I was told at the dealership, put it in park, for towing, is this correct
