Fit and Adjustability of Roof Rack for 2012 Prius V wagon

Question:

Roof racks for 2012 Prius V wagon Of the racks you have for this car, do any allow me to change the position of the racks, or change the position between the two racks ? I ask because that flexibility might be helpful, but the all seem to have instructions stating that the racks must be in a very specific position and at a specific distance apart from each other.

Roof rack systems such as the Rhino-Rack 2500 Series for Vortex Aero Crossbars, # RRVA126B-2 for your 2012 Toyota Prius V have a particular mounting location. That is the design of roof racks for naked roofs, you do not have adjustability in terms of crossbar spread. These are designed to be positioned at particular location with minor tolerance forward/aft. The crossbar spread is about 28.5" as measured from the enter of one crossbar to the center of the other.

The roof rack that I suggest for your 2012 Toyota Prius V is the Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Legs, # RRRLKVA mounted with the Custom DK Fit Kit, # DK195 and use the Vortex Aero Crossbars, # RRVA126B-2.
