Question:
Bought tbc draw-tite i command and 4 way to 7 way. All installed hard wired not using factory tbc wiring. Exception I cannot find a place to connect brake light lead wire from tbc. Vehicle is 2021 f150 it has no brake switch on pedal. Turn and brake run thru same wire. Since the controller needs a single brake light feed the factory wires wont work. Neither do i want to mess with the factory wiring in truck or change 7 way or trailer wiring. Do yall have something, knowledge or a way to provide a single brake light lead wire for controller without messing with anything else? Thanks

There are two possible solutions in order to complete the installation of the Draw-Tite I-Command Trailer Brake Controller. The brake light switch wire on the 2021 Ford F-150 is not be usable. The first is to use the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers # 22292. This plugs into the built in harness beneath the dash.
If for some reason you do not have this port, the only other option is to use the Roadmaster Universal Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751000. This will give you a separate wire to connect to your brake controller.
