Question:

I have an old 1972 Dilly boat trailer. I have used etrailer hubs before and know that this hub will fit my trailer. My question is - Is the grease pre-greased it sounds like suitable for marine use such as launching/loading my boat?

The Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2K Axles # AKIHUB-440-2-EZ-1K comes with a Lithium complex, multipurpose grease which would be okay on a boat trailer but wouldn't be the best type of grease.

Since you'll be using this for a boat trailer I recommend using the CE Smith Trailer Hub Assembly # CE13110 instead because it comes pre-greased as well, but it uses a heavy-duty, marine-grade grease instead so it is much more suitable for a boat application.
