Can a 2004 Jeep Liberty Sport 4WD be flat towed? If so, what do I need to be able to flat tow behind my RV? Thank You,

Yes, a 2004 Jeep Liberty Sport 4WD can be flat towed. Only 4WD models of the Jeep Liberty can be flat towed behind your RV. The Jeep's transfer case must be put in neutral and the transmission must be placed in park for flat towing. There are no speed or distance restrictions when flat towing the Liberty. To flat tow a Jeep Liberty you will need:

Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms item # RM-521423-5. The direct-connect brackets are virtually invisible, easy to mount and remove, and they eliminate the need for a quick-disconnect crossbar on your tow bar. They only work with Roadmaster Tow Bars like the Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar w/ LED Lights - RV Mount - 8K item # RM-676.

Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles item # HM56203. Lets you wire your Jeep to accept your RV's tail, brake, and turn signal lights for flat towing.

Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System - Proportional item # SM99251. The supplemental braking system applies the towed vehicle's brakes in proportion to the braking action of your RV. The towed car's brakes are activated at the same time and with the same intensity as those in your motor home.

Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles item # RM-88400. This relay kit keeps your Jeep's brake signal from overriding the turn signal sent by your RV.

Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles item # RM-156-25. This kit keeps your Jeep's battery charged while it's towed behind your RV.

I have also attached a link for selecting the correct high low adapter.
