Question:

I need a set of tire chains for my Sprinter van tire size: LT215/85R 16. One road only to keep me legal as I travel mountains from Minnesota to California. Thank you.

I recommend using the Konig Standard Snow Tire Chains XB16 # TH01571245 for the 215/85R16 tires on your 2016 MB Sprinter van. These are designed for a heavier vehicle like what you have and will do a great job at helping you stay mobile in the snow.

If you're looking for something a little more cost-effective then we have the Titan Chain # TC2317 which will get the job done but isn't as good of quality as the Konig chains. For example, the Konig chains come with a 5-year limited warranty while the Titan Chains only have a 30-day warranty.

I have a 2022 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 170wb Extended roof with the same LT215/85R 16 as mentioned above. With my van being a Dually, do I need to put chains on all 4 of my wheel tires? Or just one pair for the outer rear tires?

@JasonZ I wouldn't try putting dually chains on your Sprinter. The chains made for dual wheel vehicles are designed for trucks that have big wheel-wells and plenty of space for the extra chains. A Sprinter, on the other hand, is a bit more streamlined so sticking with just outer chains would be better. The Konig XB16 # TH01571245 I referenced above are still my recommendation simply because of the quality of chain you get.
