Question:
I have a sliding glass door opening which has a 32inch door opening and a 19inch vertical to the ground from the bottom of the door opening. Do you have a distributor in North Carolina? I live near Asheville in the western part of the state. Are the steps delivered to the post office or to a physical address at home.? I am 74 but physically fit. Any problem putting this unit together at my age? I have the tools and know a lot about putting things together. What is your BEST price for the above? I am on Social Security. Every dollar counts. Please advise. Thanks.

The Econo Porch Trailer Step with Handrail and Landing, # EHS-102-R that you linked to has a overall height of 20-1/2". So that is slightly above the 19" drop that I understand you have from the ground to door opening. The # EHS-102-R-HR is the version with a hand rail on each side. These can be delivered directly to your address and come mostly assembled. They really are a great option for a solid step with a rail. You simply need to unfold the step and lock into place then attach the rails with simple hand tools, screw driver and 7/16" wrench. We do not have this style of step any shorter in height, there is a taller version but not shorter. I am concerned with the 19" measurement that you provided and worry that it will not match up to your sliding door without causing a possible trip hazard unless the ground level can be adjusted.
