Question:

Can the mount brackets be shortened. not much room between wall and my new slide tray, as it sets on my basement. Im also thinking about the overhead mount, where the TV, can swing down to veiw, and swing back up for storage. There are floor framing with this unit I could attach to, nothing solid on either wall for youre horizontal unit ??

Because of how the brackets on the MORryde Wall RV TV Mount # MR72ZR are designed, shortening the brackets isn't possible.

Since you mentioned that you were interested in a swing down tv mount, we do have a couple options for you. We have the MORryde Ceiling RV TV Mount # MR22ZR, and # MR95ZR.

The T.V. mount # MR22ZR can support up to 35 lbs, swivels 65° in either direction, and will slide out 17".

Lastly, # MR95ZR can support up to 25 lbs, and measures 8-5/8" wide, 2-5/16" tall, and 14-5/8" deep in the stowed position; and, 8-5/8" wide, 14-3/4" tall, and 5-5/8"deep fully extended.
