How to Get Furrion Vision S Camera System to Work w/ Trailer Connector on 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500
Published 12/09/2021 >
Question:
I have a 2021 Silverado 1500. I tow a Grand Design Imagine 17MKE that has the Furrion camera mount. With the truck turned off, my lighting circuit puts out 12.1V at the plug. Will this voltage operate the Furrion? If not, what are my options?

Expert Reply:
Furrion tells us that they're currently working on an adapter that works with 2021 vehicles, but they can't tell us when that might be available.
The solution we've been recommending is to use a hardwired trailer connector like # 119250KIT, and using it to bypass the lighting circuits feeding your factory 7-way. This will provide enough power on the running light circuit so that the # FOS05TASF Furrion Vision S camera system works correctly.
