Question:

Hello, I have a 2020 Acura MDX with a 2 in hitch. I bought the hitch from Acura and it comes with a hitch pin. The diameter of the hitch pin is 1/2 inch. How large is the hole on the Thule rack that fits into the hitch receiver? I’d like to use the pin instead of having to ratchet the Thule bolt on and off every time I want to remove the rack. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thank you,

I have a hitch pin answer for you. If you are looking at the Thule Camber 4 # TH9056, even though the pinhole of this rack measures 1/2 inch in diameter, you will not be able to use your hitch pin that came from Acura. This is because the hitch pin that is designed to be used with the Camber 4 is threaded just like the Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock and Anti-Rattle Device # THSTL2. Due to this fact, you will not be able to use a non-threaded hitch pin like your pin.
