Question:

I'm hearing conflicting information about a 'death wobble' the Jeep Cherokee experiences when being flat towed. Is that still the case with the 2021 model year Cherokee Trailhawk?

Luckily enough, Jeep solved that death wobble problem, so you won't need the special wiring harness from Mopar.

To flat tow your Cherokee Trailhawk, along with the # RM-522 Falcon All Terrain tow bar you'd looked at you'll need a base plate kit like # RM-521451-5 and # RM-643 safety cables.

To wire the taillights, I'd recommend a diode system like Roadmaster # RM-152-98146-7. You'll also want to use a charge line kit # RM-156-25 to keep the battery topped off while towing.

For a supplemental braking system, I'd recommend the Demco Stay in Play # SM99251 if your motorhome has hydraulic brakes or the # SM99243 Air Force One if the motorhome has air brakes.
