Tandem Axle Boat Trailer Hanger Kit For Use With Salt Water

Question:

I have a 25 Ft Center Console Fishing Boat, I need to know that this , Tandem - Axel Trailer Kit for Doubled Eyed Leaf Springs is going to hold up in and out of salt water ? Im very concerned that its going to rust away in a year or two... I need it to last a least 4 or 5 Years.. If its not salt water protected, what do you recommend I use to slow the corrosion down ?

The hangers that come with the Tandem-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit # APT8 are going to be bare steel since they will need to be welded to the frame. This is how all hangers are going to come as they will need to be welded to the frame. Once you have them welded on I recommend having the hangers, straps and equalizers coated in a marine specific paint. This will help to resist the corrosive properties of the salt water.
