Replacement Transmitter For Roadmaster Even Brake Portable Supplemental Braking System

Question:

Are the even brakes with SN below 27497 inferior in operation to the ones with a number above 27497?

The Roadmaster Even Brake Portable Supplemental Braking System # RM-9400 with serial numbers below 27497 is not inferior to the ones with a serial number higher than 27497. Roadmaster switched their circuit board manufacturer at this point.

If you have an older RoadMaster Transmitter with your Even Brake pre 27497 you will need to get the RoadMaster Even Brake Transmitter and Receiver # RM-9430.

For the Even Brake newer than 27497 you will only need the Transmitter # RM77FR

The RoadMaster Transmitter #RM-9420 is the correct transmitter for the Roadmaster Even Brake #RM-9400 with serial numbers up to 27,496. For Serial Numbers 27,497 and above the RoadMaster Transmitter #RM77FR is the correct one for the Even Brake.
