Will the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers for 3.5K Axle Work With Lift Spacers

Question:

axel 2-3/8" 3,500lb + 2" spacer above axel plus leaf spring on top will the roadmaster 2450 be good choice thanks

The Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers for Tandem Axle Trailers part # RM-2450 is designed for 3,500 lb, 2-3/8" diameter axles. It will work with both underslung and overslung axles. That said, if you have any sort of spacer installed between the axle and leaf spring that will change the angle of shock so you will need to test fit to ensure you can stay within the the recommended 20-40 degree angle. If you cannot achieve the proper shock angle (see photo below) the spacer will have to be removed.

Unfortunately, we cannot inform of fit with aftermarket lift spacers.
