Question:

Which Roadmaster base plates do I need for my 2021 Ram 1500 Big Horn. It has the 5.7L gas engine.

The 2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn would use the Roadmaster # RM-522203-5 base plate.

If you don't already have a tow bar, I'd recommend the Roadmaster Nighthawk All-Terrain tow bar, part # RM-676. The tow bar includes the safety cables and the umbilical cable. For taillight wiring, use # RM-154. For a supplemental braking system, use # DM86VR if your motorhome has hydraulic brakes or # DM26VR if the motorhome has air brakes.

If the installed height of the base plates has a height difference greater than 3 inches compared to the receiver height of the motorhome, you'll need a high/low adapter to bring the difference within 3 inches. I'll link to an article that explains how to measure this, as well as to a listing of our high/low adapters.
