For installing a hitch on your 2022 Subaru Outback, most of the hitches we carry do require for you to remove your rear bumper during installation. If you are looking to avoid that step, I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # DT73RR.
