Can Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit for 3,500 lb Axles be Used for a 3,000 lb Axle

Can the dextar 3500 axle never adjust brakes be used on a dextar 3000 axle. I have a 2021 Aliner with 14 inch wheels and the off road package.

The Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit # 23-468-469 for 3,500 lb axles has 10" diameter x 2-1/4" wide dimensions while the Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit # K23-472-473-00 for 3,000 lb axles has 10" diameter x 1-1/2" wide dimensions.
Since the dimensions are different you will need to stick with the ones rated for a 3,000 lb axle # K23-472-473-00.
