Do Light Strips DI44ZR Just Wire In, And Width & Height of Strip

Question:
2 quick questions: 1-Do I need to remove the existing ballast, or do I just connect them up as per the instructions? 2-What is the W and H measurement? I have an older T5 fixture and want to make sure there is adequate room. Thank you

Expert Reply:
I reached out to the manufacturer, Diamond Group, who told me you do just connect up the LED T8 Light Strip with Wiring Harness - 18" to 24" Fixtures - 1,400 Lumens - Qty 2 # DI44ZR.
They also sent me the diagram for the LED T8 Light Strip # DI44ZR, which I have attached below. As you can see, it is 17.5 mm (0.69") high and 9 mm (0.35") wide.
