I am replacing a T4 2 wire fluorescent light, so I have 2 wires coming from cabinet. Saw your video that the D144ZR or DI44ZR has a red and black wire. Can I connect the red and black wire to my two wires and it ought to work?

Your existing white wire is the ground connection, and the black wire on the # D144ZR serves as the ground. If you connect the existing white to the black wire on the lamp and the existing black wire to the red wire on the lamp, you'll be good to go.
