Upgrading Equalizers With Wet Bolts For a 2021 Grand Design Imagine 2910BH

Question:

I have a 2021 Grand Design Imagine 2910BH. I have measured the current cast equalizer and its 7.5 inches wide from center leaf spring hole to center leaf spring hole. The shackles are 2.25 Inches. From my research the Road Armor Equalizer wont work as its only 6 inches wide. This Equa-Flex appears to be the best fitment but I noticed its rated for 6K to 8K rated axles and my axles are rated at 4,400 each. I assume that this would still be OK but wanted to check? I also wanted to see if this could be used with MoRryde Wet Bolt Kit Item # MR58ZR. Thanks in advance! If there are any other equalizers that would fit Id be interested in learning of those as well. Thank you!

I do have a couple options for you as the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC279688 are only recommended from Lippert to work with 6,000-8,000lb axles.

I recommend the Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit # K71-653-00 on your 2021 Grand Design Imagine 2910BH as this will also include the wet bolt kit components that you are looking for as well. This equalizer is designed to work with axles rated up to 8,000lbs each and includes the 2-1/4" length straps that you currently have.

Another product that will fit is the MORryde Shock Absorbing Suspension Equalizers # MR27ZR. This has a closer design to what the Equa-Flex has if you prefer that design and will work with axles up to 8,000lbs. For this you will need a MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit # MR46ZR with the 2-1/4" shackles as they are not included with the MORryde as a set.
