Fit of Softride Locking Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin # SR25219 on Extra Wide Receiver Tube of 2012 Tacoma

Question:

Does this part fit a 2012 Toyota Tacoma hitch? The Tacoma hitch has reinforcing metal on each side compared to other hitches such as a Dodge Dakota. The pin I used on my Dakota is to short to lock on my tacoma hitch. If not, do you carry another anti rattle pin that works on a Tacoma.

Per my contact at Softride, their stainless steel locking anti-rattle hitch pin you referred to, part # SR25219 was lengthened about 1-1/2 years ago so that it will be compatible with the extra width of the OEM receiver tube on your 2012 Tacoma. The anti-rattle hitch pin would be a great choice for you as long as the shank of the ball mount or accessory you would use it with is hollow (most are).
