For your 2021 Chevy Traverse I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # CU29FR. It has a maximum gross trailer weight capacity of 5,000lbs and maximum tongue weight capacity of 750lbs (note: this will increase the towing capacity or tongue weight of your vehicle so you'll need to refer to your owner's manual and follow whichever rating is lower).

If you need a trailer wiring harness as well then I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector # 118287. This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located just beneath your vehicle, on the driver's side, as you can see in the attached installation video.

Once installation is complete, the 7-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket # PK12711U is recommended to keep the connector secure.

It is also recommended that you use a small amount of grease # 11755 on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 7-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
