Do I Need To Change Suspension And Tires On My 5x8 Enclosed Trailer

Question:
I have a 5x8 enclosed trailer that I plan to start taking out west elk hunting. Some of the roads I drive on can be pretty rough/bumpy. It has a leaf spring suspension in it now, single axle. I am planning on having a chest freezer and all of my gear in the trailer not quite sure the total weight. If I am successful, it could add 200-500 pounds to the total. The trailer has an 1100# capacity, which I don’t think I’ll ever hit. My question is would it be wise to change the suspension/tires to a different type/size? Or would it be an unnecessary expenditure? Any info/advise is appreciated. Thank you

Thanks for reaching out to find a solution to your problem, I have some items for you linked below:
**Timbren Trailer Suspension Enhancement System Light-Duty Trailers 1,000 lbs # TTRA1702.
This will help absorb shock and rough side to side movement and becomes more rigid as more weight is applied. They also work independently of each other and will reduce body roll and trailer sway.
Your tires should be checked before any trip for proper air pressure and tread depth. If you will be going on rough roads or even off-road you may need to change to a sturdy and durable tire. You can find your tire size and dimensions on the side wall of the tire. With that information we can help you find the best tire to suit your needs.
If you really want to go all out look at the linked item below:
*Timbren Heavy-Duty Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - 4" Lift Spindle - Wide Tires - 2,000 lbs # ASR2KHDS03.
The two independent units can eliminate the need for a thru axle, Increases ground clearance, lower deck height for easier loading and unloading, reduce roll during cornering and it will fit any trailer width.
