7-Way RV Plug and Brake Controller for 2022 Hyundai Palisade

Currently (Oct 2021) there is not a custom 7-way RV harness available for the 2022 Hyundai Palisade, therefore you will need to use the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller, # ETBC7. This kit includes everything you need to install an electric trailer brake controller and 7-way connector by upgrading the already present 4-way flat connector. If you do not currently have a 4-pole flat connector in place, I suggest the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness, # CU94FR. You can easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your Hyundai Palisade using this T-One connector that plugs directly into existing wiring. Then use the Universal Installation Kit, # ETBC7 to complete the needed upgrade to the 7-way RV.

I then suggest using the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller, # C51180. This is a Bluetooth-enabled brake controller that wirelessly connects to your smartphone, turning your phone into a brake control interface. The compact unit plugs in-line with your newly installed 7-way trailer connector eliminating the need to run wires and install a brake controller inside the vehicle. However, if you prefer a hardwired brake controller, I suggest the Tekonsha Prodigy P3, # 90195. This brake controller automatically levels when mounted within a 360-degree vertical range. Includes customizable LCD display, storable settings, 3 boost levels, battery protection and continuous diagnostics. It probably the most popular brake controller on the market. But not as easy of install as the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller, # C51180.

And finally the etrailer ball mount kit, # 989900. This comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
