Will the RockyMounts MonoRail Solo Bike Rack Work With An E-Bike

Can the Rocky Mounts Monorail Solo safely accommodate an ebike weighing 64 lbs? Thanks,

Expert Reply:
The weight capacity of the RockyMounts MonoRail Solo Bike Rack part # RKY10007 is 60 lbs. I can't recommend exceeding this rating but you may be able to remove the battery or seat to get under the listed capacity. I checked out all of our single bike carriers and 60 lbs is the limit so you'll have to shed some weight unless you go with a two bike option which would be more expensive like the Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes part # Y36FR.
Please note, you can't use wheel mount racks like the above with fenders.
