What is the Overall Length of the Bolts in the MORryde Wet Bolt Kit with 2-1/4 Inch Shackles

Question:

This kit comes with two different lengths of wet bolt. Can you provide the following dimension, please: - Shoulder lengthusable length - Overall length. The description is unclear on how the are taking the measurement Another question what is the overall shackle length.

Expert Reply:

Typically a suspension bolt will be measured by the shaft of the bolt not including the head, since the head of the bolt isn't used in mounting the springs.

The shackles are 3-3/4" long x 1-1/2" tall overall and the bolt holes are 2-1/4" center on center. I've also included dimensional drawings of the bolts for you to check out, but the shorter bolts are 3.2285" in total length and 2.8755" from the head of the bolt to the end; the longer bolts are 3.7285" overall and 3.3755" from the head to the end.

I've linked some dimensional drawings of these as well that should provide some additional information.
