Recommended Adjustable Ball Mount for Towing 3000 lb Trailer

Question:

Have it narrowed down to 2 adjustable hitches. In no particular order: B and W 5” 2ball mount Weigh Safe 180 They all have some advantages, just tough to decide. Will be towing with a SUV to start, may eventually have a Ram 1500. Will be towing RV, about 3000# max well within my limits. Any advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

If I had to choose between a Weigh Safe 180 such as # LTB8-3 or the B&W Tow & Stow, part # BWTS10037B adjustable ball mounts, I'd choose the B&W model hands-down, every time. The B&W is the heavier of the two, and it feels like the manufacturer did a better job machining it. The parts fit together more tightly, which will result in less rattle and movement when you're towing. It's also the least expensive.

Either ball mount would have plenty of capacity for a trailer weighing 3K.
