Question:
I just bought a Redarc Tow-Pro Elite for my 2021 Silverado 1500. I haven't installed it yet and I'm wondering what the best place is for the control knob. Do you have any suggestions?

When mounting the control knob for the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR it is a good idea to keep it in a spot that is easy to reach. In order to mount the knob you will also need to drill a 10mm hole. Looking at the interior of the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 I would recommend mounting it on either side of the steering wheel. It looks like there is plenty of room near the push-button start. If you would prefer, it could go on the left side of the steering wheel as well. This may depend on which packages you have on your truck since some have additional switches to the left.
Another good location would be lower on the ignition side near the pedals. This would be similar to your traditional brake controller mounting location. Since it is only the knob it still will be out of the way. I have attached a picture as well as an installation video on a 2016 Silverado where it is mounted in this location for your reference.
